As this time around we are a little time poor when it comes to going out – We decided to skip getting professional photos done of Edi as a newborn, and I decided to put my photography skills to the test and take my own! Whilst I’m still a beginner in the land of photography, I feel I’m getting better and better at it, and I’m enjoying it a lot. It’s not hard at all to take your own pictures, a room with lots of natural light, some props & a good camera is all you need.
It also helps if your little bub doesn’t try to escape their ‘baby burrito’! I had to stop many times to re-wrap Edi as she kept trying to wiggle out of her swaddle. Luckily, I’m pretty quick at taking photos, a hint if you’re taking your own – make sure you have shots planned in advance, so if you have limited time, you know exactly what you’re doing.
So prepare yourself for cuteness, and enjoy Edi’s first photoshoot at 3 weeks old 🙂
